We stayed at the charming Stone Cottage on our visit to the Elgin Valley. With a private deck over a stream and lush garden surrounds, this cottage is a real winner. It’s situated on a small apple, pear and grape farm just 7km down Valley Road which is a perfect location for exploring the valley. Brookelands Farm also has an abundance of beautiful trees and plants and four incredible dams for swimming.
The cottage is tiny but actually all one needs for a weekend getaway. It has an open-plan bedroom/kitchen area with an en-suite bathroom and an enclosed outdoor shower which was such a treat. We enjoyed dinners out on the deck every evening and soaking up the peace and quiet, definitely a lovely spot to return to.
Hop over here for more of my Elgin discoveries and what to do in the valley.
