I spotted this home on Pinterest and was drawn to the beautiful, soft palette and clean, contemporary finishes. On reading further, I discovered that this Melbourne home is actually incredibly tiny – it’s only 4 metres wide and 8 metres long!
The home belongs to Josh and Jenna Densten of Bicker Design. The 1870’s cottage was recently renovated by the couple and thanks to their design skills they’ve cleverly maximised every inch which meant custom making all the furniture. Keeping the decor simple and minimal, they’ve created a compact home that still manages to feel spacious.
Tiny Homes are definitely a trend at the moment however as cute as they are, one of the cons is the lack of space for entertaining. I’m hoping they have a large back garden for some alfresco dining at least!
