Celebrating craft and African artisans with Hadeda

Hadeda

Living in Cape Town, we have plenty of choices when it comes to finding gorgeous basketware and hand crafted woven goods. For those of you living abroad, this is not always the case and so was born. Founded by Kate Kindersley, the UK-based lifestyle label celebrates heritage of craft over mass production. Hadeda will be collaborating with talented artisans across Africa to bring you one-of-a-kind ceramic, art, furniture and fashion pieces.

I recently worked with Kate to photograph key items for Hadeda’s lookbook and thought I’d share a few of these images with you. We had a stunning home to use as our backdrop which really made the pieces come alive. Is there anything that catches your eye? I’m mad about the round coffee tables made by a social upliftment project working with artisans in Madagascar, Mozambique, Swaziland and South Africa.

Hop over to  to stay updated with all things Hadeda and keep an eye out for their which is due to launch within the next few weeks.
