Begur is a beautiful Spanish town just North East of Barcelona situated on the Costa Brava. The old part of the town is set on a hill top overlooking the Mediterranean sea. Begur is absolutely picturesque with ancient buildings and narrow, winding streets. Quaint boutiques and cafés add to it’s appeal. We spent a full day exploring this small town and taking in all the sights.
From Begur, you can explore many of the gorgeous nearby beaches and coves. In Summer, all a quick bus trip away.

Hi Lana
Where did you stay in Begur? I’ve seen the view of the Castle in a couple blogs but can’t work out which hotel it’s taken from.
My husband and I are planning on spending three nights in the town at the end of June.
Thanks!

Hi Gretchen
I stayed outside the actual town, at a lovely B&B called L’Aixart (https://lanaloustyle.com/2014/12/laixart.html ) which was closer to the coast. We wanted walking access to the beaches. So I unfortunately can’t help you with where to stay in town.
