This past weekend we took a trip out to Noordhoek to visit Cape Point Vineyards. Wow, what a breathtaking setting. Surrounded by mountains and vineyards and looking down onto Noordhoek beach in the distance, this wine estate is quite magical.

We had already booked a lunch out on the deck but next time round I’ll definitely be booking a picnic basket. Groups of families and friends were dotted all around the dam, lazing in the afternoon sun and soaking up the atmosphere. What a fabulous way to spend an afternoon, don’t you agree?
