What’s on in June

It’s First Thursdays today in Cape Town so get out and about and so some city exploring.
Tall Tales opens this evening at The Alliance Francaise du Cap. This charity exhibition of illustration and fine art will run until the 30th of June but pop in tonight and enjoy a glass of wine too.

Missibaba will be launching their new Woven Collection this evening. Pop in between 6 and 8pm and join them for a glass of wine while you browse the new selection of handwoven beauties.

This coming weekend is also bumper packed. There’s The Good Food & Wine Show featuring a star-studded line-up of the world’s most inspiring chefs. The always popular Wacky Wine festival is happening in the Robertson Valley from the 1st till the 4th of June.

On Saturday Margot Molyneux is launching their new AW/17 Collection, Mara. Alongside this collection, they will have WAIF’s new collection, including homeware and decorative objects. Out in Durbanville you can visit the ceramics market at Rust-en-Vrede Gallery.

The Hermanus FynArts Festival takes place from the 9th till the 18th of June and there are so many amazing events on the go from photography workshops and food pairings, to live music, theatre, demos and more. Be sure to to book your tickets asap.

Wacky Wine

The Styling Shed has a number of lovely workshops on the go during the month of June, including a cake decorating workshop with The Birdcage Tea Bar and Scented Sessions where you’ll learn how to make your own perfume & body lotion.

Womens Workshop

Towards the end of the month, The Styling Shed will also be hosting a Winter Winelands Women’s Pop-up showcasing women’s fashion, jewellery, kids apparel and skincare.
