I’ve already shared a post on the recent Kamers held at the Castle but I thought I’d take a closer look at some of the homeware brands that stood out for me. Kamers is all about handmade and they do a great job of showcasing local talent.

Archibold Solid Woods create striking one of a kind wooden side and coffee tables. I love how they’ve used cracked pieces of wood and kept the look raw and natural.

These boards from Coco Africa with their wooden inset are both practical and eye-catching. They have a wide range of fantastic wooden lifestyle products which are all produced in Franschhoek. Anne Hodgson collaborated with Dor + Kie and together they created beautiful hand carved wooden spoons and bowls with a brass facet or inlay.

For kids furniture, do take a look at Dovetail. Their dip-dyed wooden chairs are so sweet.

I also loved these ceramics from Mint which are all hand painted by Thia de Vos.
