Meet the Tin Can Homestead – a quirky renovated Airstream

Tin Can Homestead

Let’s take peak inside this oh so cute Airstream trailer which has been lovingly renovated by owners, Natasha Lawyer and Brett Bashaw. After road tripping for 6 months and finding they could live with less, they decided to purchase a 1971 Airstream.

Their starting point was a very basic shell without plumbing, electricity, or walls and they had to tackle waterproofing, painting, installing flooring, and more. With such a tiny space, they had to think about clever storage solutions and focus on less is more. The plant life is definitely on the more side… which I love of course!

Following on from their popular Instagram account, Natasha and Brett documented their trailer adventures and have published the Tin Can Homestead which guides readers through all stages of creating their own Airstream homes – from buying a trailer to plumbing and electrical work. For a full tour of the space, hop on over here.

What a great space cleverly designed! It looks like a really cosy, comfortable home. I also like all the different potplants!
