I am always on the look out for restaurants and eateries with beautiful outdoor areas. For me, there’s nothing nicer than enjoying a breakfast or lunch outdoors in a garden setting. The options are certainly limited within the city centre and I find myself heading to the Company’s Garden Restaurant over and over again. For a change of scenery though, all it takes is a 20 minute drive.
Courtyard 53 is situated in the Southern Suburbs and is definitely worth a trip even if it’s only to soak up some sunshine. It used to be called Farriers Centre but since Farriers have left the premises, its been renamed to Courtyard 53 which is much more fitting.
A selection of lovely shops are all centred around this lovely courtyard and you get the feeling you might just be in the English countryside. It’s home to High Tea, Alison’s Flowers, Derma Clinic, Heydt of Hair Design, Victorian Bathrooms, Moorgas & Waldron, Le Brocanteur & IronStone.
Just a few photos to entice you to visit…
