Greyton is really one of the most charming villages in the Western Cape, it’s less than a 2 hour drive from Cape Town so it’s ideal for a weekend getaway. The village always has a lush green feeling with Oak lined streets and verdant gardens. There are a number of lovely coffee shops, restaurants and gift shops and what I really love about Greyton is that you can walk everywhere. You can literally park your car for the weekend and then explore on foot. The Saturday Market is a must and the nature reserve is wonderful for walks and mountain biking. Another attraction are the cows and horses roaming around the town freely.
Last week we had two birthdays in my family so we decided to celebrate with a weekend away together. We stayed in the most stunning home right in the heart of Greyton. The house sleeps eight and is incredibly spacious with a huge back garden which makes it perfect for large groups and kids. The house is designed in a U shape around a central swimming pool with two living areas and a wonderful flow. We loved the clean, contemporary look and the abundance of light.
The house is owned by Love Milo owner, Nicki Ellis, and her family and so naturally there are gorgeous Love Milo ceramics, accessories and scatters adorning the home. By the end of the weekend we were all wishing we could move right in! Enjoy the tour and hop over here to make a booking.

I saw this home in a House and Leisure ages ago. I have kept the magazine because of it. SO lovely

Yes, so did we so I was super excited when I spotted it on Airbnb. They have made a few changes since then but it’s still just as stunning.
